What we are building
The free allergy-card experience turns a family member’s selected allergens into a complete restaurant statement in the destination language. Cards can remain available offline and, where a matching device voice exists, can be spoken aloud.
The public guide library adds practical questions and official resource links for travelers who are still preparing. It is intentionally available without an account.
What Safely Plate cannot do
Safely Plate cannot inspect a kitchen, verify a supplier, diagnose an allergy, recommend treatment or guarantee that food is safe. Translation and speech can be misunderstood. Families must verify ingredients and cross-contact directly and follow advice from qualified healthcare professionals.
Privacy by separation
Public guide pages and private family profiles are separate. We do not place allergy, medication, medical-condition or child-profile information into advertising requests. Restaurant cards do not show profile photos.
Our nonprofit direction
We are exploring forming Safely Plate as a U.S. nonprofit public-benefit organization so the essential allergy-card service can remain free and expand through grants and mission-aligned partnerships. Safely Plate is not yet an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3), and no contribution is currently represented as tax-deductible.
